You know you are a mom when every one of your sentences are filled with double words. Do you want more yum yums? Da-Da wants big kiss before night-night. Careful, hot, hot. Such a big girl, girl. Did you get a boo-boo? And my favourite: Ma-Ma loves you.

u know u are a parent to an elementary school child when you ask your teenager or even your girlfriends if they have to go “potty”. I get looked at sideways all the time for that one.

So true! You also know you’re a mom when you go to the store and THEN notice the mac and cheese / boogers / tempura paint all over your shirt!

*LOL* My boss asked me to eat lunch with him one day. I told him first I needed to go “pee pee in the potty”. He just laughed it off. Talk about embarrassing.
