Stonz Product Review
Posted by JB on Wednesday Nov 19, 2008When we think of Canada, we can’t help but think of cold, snow and people doing what they must to keep warm. Although summers are beautiful with people actually wearing shorts, sandals and a bikini at the beach, fall arrives, winter sets in, and the cold weather can be colder than you ever imagined.
When it comes to keeping our kids protected in the elements, one Canadian company, Stonz has really hit the mark with unique, functional footwear that actually stays on. During a chance meeting at Whistler, two moms were brought together, searching for warm footwear that didn’t fall off. Both being outdoors enthusiasts, they strived for a perfect fitting boot that would allow their kids to be outside just as much as they were.
Stonz has spent years perfecting what they believe is the most versatile bootie on the market. They pride themselves in creating an innovative quality kids’ product that is both functional and stylish… and most importantly, made in Canada.
What Soapbox liked about them, was the ease in putting them on and taking them off. No more over-heating with a second scarf around your neck while mom struggles with your footwear. With wide openings, Stonz makes it effortless, resulting in quick and trouble-free-hassles when trying to get out the door. Made with durable coated nylon, feet stay dry and warm. Fleece lining keeps babies toes comfortable and cozy. Adjustable toggles are changeable for any size, (including ones with that extra sock mom forced on), ensuring a close fit around calf and ankles. They have a skid resistant sole and can be washed in a household machine. What more could a mom ask for?
Check out their site at Stonzwear.com and you will find fun and funky colors. These are not just any boot. Pink Hibiscus flowers, camo, zebra and even the American flag are just a few of the trendy pattern your kids will love. They like to say “From newborns to walkers, indoors and outdoors, in all seasons, easy on and stay on–they are the most versatile bootie you’ve ever seen!”
Standing on my soapbox,
JB
