JJ Cole Product Review
Posted by JB on Friday Feb 13, 2009As much as I like to think winter is finally over, I can assure you around here it is not. Despite fewer clouds and no snow falling, it still feels pretty darn cold once I step outside my door.
The snow, cold weather, icy sidewalks and plain old unpredictable weather has been a huge factor in keeping me and the kids from walking outside. Not to mention the trouble it is to bundle everyone up, take extra blankets, pin mitts to jackets, bring hats, scarves and anything else I might have to protect my little ones from the elements. Every time I go out, I feel like I have fifty things with me and come home with only half as my kids drop them, forget them or ultimately loose them. I can’t tell you how many times a blanket has slid from my child’s lap only to get wrapped around the stroller’s tire or dragged along the ground. I feel like I have to stop every few blocks to tuck it in and reassure myself that everyone is warm. Often those extra layers and wedged in blankets don’t seem to be too comfortable for the kids and our walks are over before they start.
Happily, I recently strapped onto my stroller the Bundleme Urban by JJ Cole Collections. This fantastic item is the cat’s meow when it come to keeping kids warm, comfortable and protected. I went from being worried about their warmth to being relaxed and reassured they are covered and toasty warm. This super easy to use product fits easily onto most strollers. Designed with shape, baby and toddler are cocooned and sheltered, not restricted and confined. As they sit comfortably inside, the long zippered front allows them to be enclosed or exposed as much as they need.
I love the bright colors of the Bundleme Urban and classic shades of the Bundleme Original. The super-soft plush shearing lining is luxurious next to any child. It is machine washable, and fits so that the safety straps in both car seat and stroller can easily be secured. With my first child I tried draping blankets, and then spent half the time picking them up off the ground.
With my second child, it was one of the few things I purchased while still pregnant because when I saw it in the store; I immediately knew it was a great idea. My husband gave me the gears for getting it since we had so much stuff already, but after that first ride home from the hospital, with his delicate baby girl, he complained that I hadn’t got one for our son. (men!)
I have since passed that smaller one on to our friend’s four-month-old and happily stroll down the neighborhood in our new bright green quilted version. Both have been a must have item and offered great value, convenience and security in knowing my child is comfortable and happy; it is the most you could ask for in a product. Way to go JJ Cole.
